About Me
I’m Tyler Williams, I’m a licensed and insured home inspector in Marshall, NC. My background is in engineering and home improvement, and I have received the latest home inspection training from the Home Inspection Training Center in Burlington, NC.
I originally got my degree in engineering because I’m curious and I love getting into the details of how things work, and I think that’s what makes me a great home inspector. I love seeing how all of the parts of a house work together, and I love finding any issues that stop a house from being the home it should be.
While my background in engineering gives me an understanding of how each system works, my background in home improvement gives me an understanding of what it takes to keep each system working. You can’t install as many toilets, sinks, and water heaters as I have without knowing what a plumbing system needs, you can’t install as many light fixtures, ceiling fans and outlets as I have without learning what an electrical system needs, and you can’t do as much construction as I have without knowing what a framing system needs. I know what your home needs, and you can count on me to find out what you need to know to purchase or maintain a house with confidence.
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons. I also enjoy a list of hobbies born of my curiosity and desire to learn how things work-woodworking, leatherworking, woodturning, fly tying, and photography to name a few.
